High Mileage run texts · Effective September 22, 2026 · Version 0

These are the terms for text messages from High Mileage. They tell you what we send, how often, how to stop, and how to get help. They go with our privacy policy, which covers what we do with your number.

The short version. High Mileage run texts are recurring automated texts about our runs, sent by Curative Company Inc. (doing business as High Mileage). Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel, HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of buying anything or of entry to any run.

1. The program

Program name
High Mileage run texts
Sender
Curative Company Inc., doing business as High Mileage, Los Angeles, California. Texts are sent by us or by a messaging platform on our behalf.
What we send
Texts about High Mileage runs: meet points, start times, route changes, run announcements, and your check-in pass. That is the whole list. We do not text about anything else.
Frequency
Message frequency varies. Expect a handful of texts around each run and little or nothing in between.
Cost
We do not charge for texts. Message and data rates may apply under your mobile plan.
Where
United States mobile numbers on U.S. carriers only.
Age
You must be 21 or older to opt in.

2. How you opt in

You only get texts if you asked for them. There are two places you can do that, and in both the text box is separate, optional, and off by default:

By opting in you give your express written consent to receive recurring automated text messages from High Mileage at the number you provided. The texts may be sent using an automatic telephone dialing system or other automated technology. You confirm you are the account holder or regular user of that number, and you agree to tell us if you give it up. We keep the exact wording you agreed to, and its version, with your consent.

Consent is not a condition of purchase or of entry. Leaving the box unticked changes nothing about your ticket, your waiver, your place on the email list, or your run.

3. How to stop

Reply STOP to any text. You may receive one final text confirming you are opted out, and then no more. You can also opt out by emailing hi@highmileage.xyz from any address, or by telling us in any other reasonable way. Opt-outs are honored within ten business days.

Opting out of texts does not remove you from the email list, and unsubscribing from email does not stop texts. They are separate consents; each is stopped on its own. If you want out of both, say so and we will do both.

If you opt out and later want texts again, you will need to opt in again. We will not re-add you on our own.

4. How to get help

Reply HELP to any text for program information, or email hi@highmileage.xyz. A person reads that inbox.

5. Your number and your privacy

Your mobile number and your opt-in are used only to send you the texts described above. We do not sell your number, and we do not share your opt-in or your number with any third party for their own marketing. The messaging platform that delivers our texts processes your number only to deliver them. Everything else is in our privacy policy.

6. Carriers

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on your carrier and your network, and we cannot guarantee that a given text arrives or arrives on time. If you are relying on a text for a meet point or a start time, the run details are also on highmileage.xyz.

Supported carriers include the major U.S. carriers and their networks. If your carrier does not support the program, you will not receive our texts.

7. Changes to these terms

These terms are versioned and dated at the top. If we change them in a way that matters — what we send, how often, who sends it — we will update the version and date here and, where we can, let you know before it takes effect.
